Villagers are invited to a free full-day “Senior Resources Symposium: Empowering Seniors, Caregivers, Family, & Community” organized by the Petaluma Sr. Advisory Committee. Learn how IHSS helps low-income older adults and individuals with disabilities remain safely in their homes and maintain their independence. Explore opportunities to become an IHSS provider and see how community involvement strengthens support for vulnerable residents. In addition to speakers and break-out sessions, there will be 60 vendor information tables/exhibits. Othere will be transit vehicles, the SafeTeam van, and electric trikes/bikes to try, plus a tech help table and several cooking/shopping demonstrations.
