Spontaneous Writing – the discipline of writing quickly without self-editing or planning – can help one heal from past traumatic experiences. It sets one's creative spirit free and increases writing fluidity to break through "writer's block." This weekly group provides an opportunity to share a human tapestry of experiences.
Each week members write about topics randomly selected from the "Juice Jar" and encourage one another to use a variety of writing techniques to enhance and enliven their work. Meeting in person, they develop and share spontaneous creations and contribute ideas for future sessions. For members and volunteers.
Member and volunteer, Mary Alden facilitates this new group.
If you are newly interested in trying out, or joining, this Interest Group, please contact our Member Relations and Volunteer Manager, Carol Appel, at info@VillageNetworkofPetaluma.org or 707-776-6055 for information. We are happy to introduce you to this group leader.
