The Cool City Challenge awarded one-million-dollar grants to 3 cities for 2022, Petaluma, Los Angeles, and Irvine. We will be involved in creating the template for 50 cities to receive similar grants in 2023. We hope to set the example for the world! Cool Petaluma is our chosen name for our grassroots effort focused on building up our social networks to help neighborhoods become more planet friendly, disaster resilient, and community rich. Our individual efforts will result in immediate improvements to our quality of life and we'll help empower neighbors to take action together, including pushing for necessary governmental actions as well.
