Through shared learning, we deepen our awareness of social injustice and strengthen our commitment to its opposite. Join us in reading and discussing The Heaven & Earth Grocery Store. This novel by writer James McBride, was released in 2023. It tells the story of Black and Jewish residents of the Chicken Hill neighborhood of Pottstown, Pennsylvania, in the 1920s and '30s.
