Village Women’s Circle: Providing open space to create deeper connections with self and in community
10:30 AM to 11:45 AM
Who can attend
In this weekly Interest Group, we explore what optimal mental health and behavior might look like in older women. We will start with a discussion group around the issues that many older women deal with daily. Many topics offer a gold mine for personal growth and development, such as:
**Aging**Being Alone**Money Management**Adult Kids**Being in the Caretaker Role**Finding Purpose** Bereavement**Sexuality**What Really Matters**
The direction will be responsive to the needs and interests of the group members and will be facilitated for equal sharing and conversation. Initial meetings will be conducted over Zoom, though the group will eventually meet in-person, as the Village reopens.
The women's circle is co-facilitated by three members Sarah Fleming, Gaila Newburg, and Stacey Elliott.
If you are newly interested in trying out, or joining, this Interest Group, please contact our Member Relations and Volunteer Manager, Carol Appel, at info@VillageNetworkofPetaluma.org or 707-776-6055 for information. We are happy to introduce you to this group leader.
